Correction: Tumor Area Positivity (TAP) score of programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1): a novel visual estimation method for combined tumor cell and immune cell scoring

Following publication of the original article [1], the authors noticed an error in Abstract result section and Discussion section on page 8, and requested to change the email address of the corresponding author from “ying.kong@roche.com” to “kongyingsfy@gmail.com”.

In abstract results section; the incorrect statement reads:

“TAP score had high concordance rate at 5% cutoff compared with CPS at cutoff 1: positive percent agreement, negative percent agreement, and overall percent agreement were all above 85%.”

The corrected statement should read as follows:

“TAP score had high concordance rate at 1% and 5% cutoff compared with CPS at cutoff 1: positive percent agreement, negative percent agreement, and overall percent agreement were all above 85%.”

In discussion section; the incorrect statement reads:

“The APA, ANA, and OPA of the two comparisons were equal to or greater than 85%, with TAP score at 5% cutoff having better concordance with CPS 1 compared with TAP score at 1%.”

The corrected statement should read as follows:

The PPA, NPA, and OPA of the two comparisons were equal to or greater than 85%, with TAP score at 1% cutoff having better concordance with CPS 1 compared with TAP score at 5%.

The original article [1] has been updated.
